PLEASE NOTE:

  • We are currently not conducting in-person sales at the Theatre Exile Box Office. All sales will need to be made online or by phone.

Making a Purchase
Subscription and ticket purchases, as well as tax-deductible donations, may be made by phone or securely online. Unless otherwise noted, group sales, gift certificates and merchandise are available by phone or in person only.

No Refunds Policy
Tickets are non-refundable and no credits will be issued for unused tickets, whether they were purchased individually or as part of a subscription package.

Methods of Payment
Theatre Exile accepts cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express.

Payment for Reservations
Tickets cannot be reserved without payment, which must be received at the time purchase.

Receipt of Tickets
Tickets are distributed via email at the time of purchase. Patrons will receive two emails- an order receipt, and a PDF attachment containing their tickets with a QR code. Theatre Exile no longer prints or mails paper tickets. If a patron is unable to present their QR code upon arrival, they may check in by giving their full name.

Ticket Exchanges
We will try to accommodate ticket exchanges up to 48 hours before the earlier performance; upgrade fees may apply.

Ticket Donations
Unused tickets may be donated to Theatre Exile for tax credit. Donations may be arranged by phone or in person.

Seating
All seating for Theatre Exile’s Season is general admission. Patrons requiring special seating consideration due to a medical condition should contact the Box Office to make advance arrangements. Availability depends on the performance venue.

Arrival Time
Plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled performance time. The theatre will be opened for seating by the House Manager approximately 20 minutes prior to curtain.

As a benefit to our subscribers, our Priority Seating program invites subscribers to enter the theatre first upon opening of the house, for subscription series productions.

Latecomer Seating
Latecomers will be seated completely at the discretion of the House Manager at the first appropriate break that allows for the least disruption for the actors, as well as the rest of the audience. Please keep in mind only a limited number of latecomers can be accommodated. Please notify the Box Office at 215-218-4022 if you know you will be late to a performance so the House Manager can be prepared.

Show Cancellations
Performance cancellations due to inclement weather or other circumstances are very rare. When a performance must be canceled, we will make every attempt to contact you to make arrangements for an alternate date. Please note: Theatre Exile does not offer refunds when a performance has taken place.

Food & Beverage Policy
Food and beverages that are purchased at concessions are permitted in the theater.

No Recording Policy
Due to contract restrictions stipulated by Actor’s Equity, the national union of professional stage actors and managers, the use of recording equipment or the taking of photographs is strictly prohibited at all performances. This includes, but is not limited to, cell phones with cameras, video cameras, and audio recording devices. Theatre Exile reserves the right to confiscate any and all devices in non-compliance to this policy.

Theatre Etiquette
Due to the intimate nature of our performances, almost any noise may be disruptive for other patrons, as well as the actors on stage. Out of courtesy, we insist that all electronic devices (cell phones, pagers, watch alarms, etc.) be turned off and any lozenges or cough drops be opened before the start of the performance. Conversation must be kept to a minimum and text messaging is forbidden.
