PROCEDURES & POLICIES
Do you have any COVID19 restrictions in place?
As of the 23/24 season, Theatre Exile has moved away from both our mask and vaccination policies. Masks are provided for those who wish to wear one. Thank you for your compliance thus far, which has brought us safely to this point!
How can I buy tickets?
Subscription and ticket purchases, as well as tax-deductible donations, may be made by phone or securely online. The box office is available by phone or email M-F 11am-4pm, or in person one hour prior to every performance.
Do you offer refunds?
Tickets are non-refundable and no credits will be issued for unused tickets, whether they were purchased individually or as part of a subscription package.
What methods of payment are accepted?
Theatre Exile accepts cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express. Tickets cannot be reserved without payment, which must be received at the time purchase.
How do I get my tickets?
All tickets, single and subscription, are delivered via email. Theatre Exile no longer prints paper tickets. Please bring your e-ticket with its unique QR code with you to the theater on the day of the show. You may present your ticket digitally or as a print out.
Do I save money in fees by purchasing in person?
No. The price of a ticket is the same online as it is in person. Exile does not charge fees.
How can I make an exchange?
We will try to accommodate ticket exchanges up to 48 hours before the earlier performance; upgrade fees may apply. Reach out to the box office via phone or email to make an exchange.
Ticket Donations
Unused tickets may be donated to Theatre Exile for tax credit. Donations may be arranged in advance by phone or email.
Seating
All seating for Theatre Exile's subscription series is general admission. Patrons requiring special seating consideration due to an access need should contact the Box Office to make advance arrangements.
Arrival Time
Plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled performance time. The theatre will be opened for seating by the House Manager approximately 20 minutes prior to curtain.
What does a subscription include?
Is late seating allowed?
Latecomers will be seated completely at the discretion of the House Manager at the first appropriate break that allows for the least disruption for the actors, as well as the rest of the audience. Please keep in mind only a limited number of latecomers can be accommodated. Please notify the Box Office at 215-218-4022 if you know you will be late to a performance so the House Manager can be prepared.
What if the show is cancelled?
Performance cancellations due to inclement weather or other circumstances are very rare. When a performance must be canceled, we will make every attempt to contact you to make arrangements for an alternate date. Please note: Theatre Exile does not offer refunds when a performance has taken place.
Is food allowed in the theater?
Food and beverages that are purchased at our concessions are permitted in the theater.
Can I take pictures and videos?
Due to contract restrictions stipulated by Actor's Equity, the national union of professional stage actors and managers, the use of recording equipment or the taking of photographs is strictly prohibited at all performances. This includes, but is not limited to, cell phones with cameras, video cameras, and audio recording devices. Theatre Exile reserves the right to confiscate any and all devices in non-compliance to this policy.
Out of courtesy, we insist that all electronic devices (cell phones, pagers, watch alarms, etc.) be turned off and any lozenges or cough drops be opened before the start of the performance. Conversation must be kept to a minimum and text messaging is forbidden.
