Classic ballads are reverse cow-girled into new favorites like Suddenly Semen, On My Own (Engaged in Masturbation) & Don’t Rain On My Fuckade. Brooke turns musical theatre tropes into sing-song gropes and will touch you in places you thought only your partner should. For ages 18+
About the artist
katherine perry (they|she) is a queer performer, trauma-informed educator, and creative engine whose work celebrates the storyteller at all stages. Previous collaborations include Boston Playwrights' Theatre, Delaware Shakespeare, Quintessence Theatre Project, Arden Theatre Company, Theatre Horizon, and Revolution Shakespeare, with several new works and world premieres. Katherine teaches in classrooms across the Philadelphia area with 1812 Productions, Azuka Theatre, The Unscripted Project, Philadelphia Young Playwrights, Kimmel Center, and People’s Light. SEX TALK and the character of Brooke Spitz were first developed for the 2011 SoLow Festival and has since appeared as part of the Philly Free Fringe, Philly Theatre Week, and York Fringe Festival.
